  • AudioBoo/Big Words
    • December 5, 2009
    • I've started an account with AudioBoo to document the production of the new BIG WORDS record over the next few months. How it works: I record a little soundbite of a new song i'm working on, or the band in the studio, or a discussion about album art, etc. YOU go to http://audioboo.fm/profile/BIGWORDS and hear tidbits about the process of making this album, from conception to release. If you're one of those curious souls who wonders about what goes into a project like this, save the link and check back from time to time, you might just learn something. At the very least, you'll have another site to keep you busy when facebook and twitter have lost their luster. So far, there's only two "Boos" on the page, but prepare for a polite onslaught of info as this project gets rolling.

  • OBAMA! and Slither & Groove Night
    • November 5, 2008
    • Obama is our President! Watching his acceptance speech last night called to mind speeches given by George W, and the knowledge that I won't have to listen to his indescribably bad way of public speaking really warmed my heart. What better way to celebrate than to jam tonight! Curated by Cosmo D, this will be a night to remember. Featuring sets by DJ Booogie Longo, Cosmo's band The Sauce, and my trio Big Words. $7 gets you in the door at Klub Europa in Greenpoint, and we'll be doing it from 8 - ???. enjoy!
